Kara Terhark has over 25 years of professional experience with 15 years in bookkeeping. Her company, Simply Numbers, works with a variety of small businesses including employment agencies, freight brokerages, new home construction, consulting, and more. Her personal business model was designed to make bookkeeping as simple and cost-effective as possible for everyone involved.

Kara enjoys building professional relationships and works hard to cultivate trust and loyalty with those who work beside her. She stays on top of every project she undertakes through exacting organization and attention to detail. Kara understands the complex world of commerce, especially for the entrepreneur, and knows that running and growing a business takes time and focus—which is why clients rely on Simply Numbers to take the frustration out of their bookkeeping and accounting.
As an independent contractor, Kara works remotely and you only pay for the work performed for your company. She’s excited to tailor a plan to your needs, doing what needs to be done so that you can focus on what makes your company succeed.
After attending the University of Minnesota, Mankato, Kara took a position at Chicago’s USRobotics in human resources before moving forward into the marketing department. In 1997 she moved to Minneapolis and joined ESP IT as the Assistant to the President. Over time, Kara transitioned into managing the office. After almost 17 years at ESP, she decided to start her own small business, Simply Numbers, LLC.
When Kara is not working, she enjoys being outdoors with her family. They love to travel, go to concerts, attend sporting events, and spend time in their community.
